Mamihlapinatapai : The Look of Unspoken, Shared Desire

Mamihlapinatapai: a look shared by two people with each wishing that the other will initiate something that both desire but which neither one wants to start.

There are two types of people in this world. There are the go-getters, the ones who see what they want and go after it with both hands, don’t afraid of getting dirty or hurt, in the pursuit of their goals. Then there is the second group, the shy ones, the ones who cower, terrified of rejection, forever tormented that they don’t have the things they want, primarily because they never get up the nerve to ask for them, or toe the line between their comfort zone and the rest of the world.

In this life, we have many types of relationship, from casual to sophisticated ones, and then there are relationships which could not be named, nor shaped. That’s it!

“Lovers”, is it? – No
“Close Friends”? – Definitely not
“Strangers”? – Not really
So, “Acquaintance” – Well! perhaps (a bitter word…).

Someone who is arranged to come to our life, make us happy, make us laugh, make us feel the truth happiness. . . but only for a moment and then they quietly steal our heart. Then, it does not give us the “right” to concern, to be angry, to remember, to be jealous and to love.

Just walk side by side, silently, in this road of life.

Smile happily, but hearts will never be in peace.

Keep silent until we truly lose each other.

Everything is because of one word: Fear

So, many things could be evasive, but affection shouldn’t.
